Fondue for Two

This dish combines our favorite cheese - Harbison - with the fun of fondue! No need to mess with a pot and bread slices that get lost. With its wrapping of spruce cambium, the Harbison stays self contained and is a great size for two! We love it with daikon radishes and apples, but you could serve it with your fruit and vegetables of your choice.

  • Serves: 2
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • 1 Harbison
  • 1 pound Daikon, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound Apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 Bread, sliced
  1. Preheat broiler and make sure you have a rack at the very top.
  2. Carefully slice top layer off harbison wheel leaving entact the wood wrapped around it.
  3. Broil cheese on aluminum foil lined baking sheet for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned on top.
  4. Carefully transfer cheese to a serving platter and surround it by sliced fruit, vegetables and bread.
  5. Enjoy!
