Easy Tofu Teriyaki

In this easy preparation, the tofu is the perfect base for flavorful teriyaki flavors. We make a whole brick of tofu and then use it for lettuce wraps, rice or grain bowls, or salads! Some of favorite toppings include matchstick sliced carrots, scallions, lemongrass sauce, and/or sriracha.

  • Serves: 2
  • Cook Time: 30 minutes
  • 1 pound Tofu
  • 0.25 cup Teriyaki sauce
  • Granulated or powdered or minced garlic, to taste
  • Granulated or powdered or minced onion, to taste
  • Powdered or minced ginger, to taste
  1. Drain tofu and cut into small cubes.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix teriyaki sauce, garlic, onion, and ginger. Add tofu.
  3. Marinate tofu in teriyaki mixture (we recommend for 3 hours).
  4. On medium-low, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Add half of the tofu to pan, cook for one minute until one side is browned, flip to the other side, and cook for another minute. Keep flipping and cooking until all the sides are browned. Remove from heat and add remaining tofu to the pan, add more oil if necessary.
