Buy Organically Grown Koginut Squash in New York, NY by Alewife Farm

  • Bred to be the perfect blend of the butternut and Japanese kabocha squashes, the koginut has a very sweet flavor and an amazing smooth, almost velvety texture.  To cook, cut the squash and half, remove the seeds (save for future cooking), and simply roast.  
  • Tyler Dennis founded Alewife farm in 2014 after an apprenticeship at the venerable Stone Barns. Based in Dutchess County, Alewife follows organic practices on the farm
  • Each order contains 1 squash, weighing approximately 2.5 lbs (although size may vary from 1.5 lbs to 3.5 lbs)
